520			_aL’ouvrage La joie de la vie est le fruit d’un travail collectif initié dans le cadre de l’Académie pontificale pour la vie, à l’occasion de l’anniversaire d’Evangelium vitae, et encouragé par le climat synodal. Nous avons voulu y proposer un parcours d’éthique théologique capable d’articuler l’écoute de la Parole de Dieu, la richesse de la tradition chrétienne et la prise en compte des défis actuels. Ce texte ne prétend pas offrir un traité exhaustif, mais un exemple de recherche partagée et dialogique, située principalement dans le contexte européen, et susceptible d’inspirer d’autres démarches ailleurs. On présente ici la genèse de ce projet, sa structure et ses principaux axes, ainsi que quelques éléments de sa réception. Nous souhaitons montrer comment cette initiative contribue à renouveler la bioéthique dans l’Église catholique, en la reliant plus étroitement aux Écritures, à l’anthropologie théologique et au discernement ecclésial.
520			_aThe book The Joy of life is the outcome of a collaborative project initiated by the Pontifical Academy for Life on the occasion of the anniversary of Evangelium vitae, and encouraged by the synodal climate. In this work, we sought to propose a theological ethical framework capable of bringing together an attentive listening to the Word of God, the richness of Christian tradition, and consideration of current challenges. This text does not seek to offer an exhaustive study, but rather an example of shared, dialogical research, situated mainly in the European context, which may inspire other initiatives elsewhere. Here we present the origins of this project, its structure and main themes, as well as some aspects of its reception. We wish to demonstrate how this initiative contributes to the renewal of bioethics in the Catholic Church, linking it more closely to Scripture, theological anthropology and ecclesial discernment.
