520			_aThe global economy is currently caught in a tension between environmental and health emergencies, the pressures generated by digital technologies, latent and open conflicts, and the gradual depletion of natural resources. These issues are examined through the graphic novel Cassandra On Fire!, a visual, creative, and scholarly work developed with the support of digital technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (excluding the script). The creative process has stimulated reflection on the central role of human creativity and imagination in the appropriation of these emerging tools. The work takes as its point of departure the major catastrophes of the twenty-first century in order to open up perspectives on forms of innovation—technological, but above all organizational and social—that are required for the construction of a sustainable future. It thereby extends, in both a playful and rigorous manner, existing analyses of the interdependencies among the major challenges facing humanity, within a framework of vigilance, innovation, and systemic transformation.
520			_aL’économie mondiale se trouve aujourd’hui prise en étau entre l’urgence environnementale et sanitaire, la pression exercée par les technologies numériques, les conflits latents et affirmés et la raréfaction progressive des ressources naturelles. Ces enjeux sont explorés à travers la bande dessinée Cassandra On Fire!, une œuvre visuelle, créative et scientifique réalisée à l’aide des technologies numériques, notamment l’intelligence artificielle (scénario non compris). Ce processus de création a suscité une réflexion sur le rôle central que peuvent jouer la créativité et l’imagination humaines pour l’appropriation de ces nouveaux outils. Cette œuvre prend pour point de départ les grandes catastrophes du XXIᵉ siècle afin d’ouvrir une perspective sur les formes d’innovation, non seulement technologiques, mais, surtout, organisationnelles et sociales, nécessaires à la construction d’un avenir durable. Elle prolonge de façon autant ludique que précise les analyses sur les interdépendances entre les grands enjeux auxquels l'humanité fait face dans une logique d’alerte, d’innovation et de transformation systémique.
