520 _aAfter giving a synthesis of the recent developments in terms of values, beliefs and religious practices in French-speaking Belgium, this article seeks to identify the individual profiles that these transformations help reveal, mainly as they affect the young generations. Building on this foundation, I seek to identify the consequences for an active engagement in the community and, for Christianity in particular, the development by young people of alternate religious practices to those found in church institutions. In the final section, I focus on the logic underlying these Christian groups.
