Communist propaganda, provided that it is correctly decoded admits an instructive view of the country’s situation. This on condition that its discourse is understood. On a first approach it is sufficient to bring into relief the topics discussed in the newspapers; how the Hungarian revolution was presented; what validating arguments were raised, etc. Methodological defenses can then be found, if we have access to other sources: other archives, anti-communist publications, “official” medias, communist and anti-communist historical accounts, propaganda, memoirs of politicians, interviews. | ||
