Multilateral oversight is a component of the vast program of economic reforms undertaken at the start of the 1990s in response to the severe economic crisis faced by these countries in the 1980s. Analyses reveal that the results are globally satisfactory. However, the future holds many challenges that will depend on various factors for their resolution. These include the evolution of the international environment and the implementation of the reforms in other domains stated in the 1994 CEMAC Treaty, especially in the financial and real sectors. | ||
