520 _aImaginary imitation of the real world is involved in the process of designing new representations (a key skill of tomorrow’s augmented manager). It is a very powerful abstraction technique applicable to any form of human activity (AI, biomimetics, virtual worlds, etc.) and is characteristic of innovative design. The research is in line with work devoted to the artificial construction of the identity of things through the mirror of thought and the modeling of the imaginary. Pedagogical examples are developed (photography, imaginary numbers, experience of visual perception) from which a theory of the design of new representations is proposed. We discuss its theoretical bases and the principles of reasoning: coherence, imaginary, analogy, memory, and reflexivity. The process introduces an irreversibility that increases the accessible space of comprehension and the space of accessible comprehension speeds, thus opening up new horizons of learning. Moreover, it minimizes the work of memory and its energy consumption.
