520 _aIn this article, we present the concept of employability in large compagnies in France and Québec. We return to the genesis of the evolution of the concept of employability, which is subject to numerous debates in the literature. Interactive employability offers a global vision at the core of concerns, while individual employability places people at the center of the concept. Taking in account employability within Human Resources Management (HRM) is becoming unavoidable, especially since there is a legal corpus on employability in France and Quebec which reinforces the consideration of this aspect in company policies. In this scientific research, we opt for a qualitative approach. We collect 65 interviews from members of Human Resources Management within large compagnies. These interviews are carried out with 33 large compagnies. The results show a contrasting reality concerning the consideration of the development of the employability of employees. This responsibility is shared between different actors within organization: employee, manager and HRM. We will also present managerial recommendations.
