Cergy est une ville du périurbain, qui constitue une étape essentielle du parcours de vie de l’autrice et offre un contrepoint à l’intimidante capitale, Paris, mais aussi à la ville de province, Yvetot. Le périurbain, entre la ville et la nature, offre la possibilité de nouveaux lieux emblématiques de l’époque contemporaine, comme le supermarché. Elle constitue enfin un véritable modèle politique, où la mixité sociale constitue une utopie, entre l’intime et le collectif.

Finally, they constitute a political model, where social diversity is an utopia, between the intimate and the collective.
