520 _aTo mark twenty years of the REIN (French Renal Epidemiology and Information Network), a summary report on the contributions of the French national end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) registry was produced. On the survival of patients with ESKD, a number of key takeaways were identified. The annual mortality rates of patients with ESKD are relatively stable, even though patients are ageing and increasingly have diabetes or obesity. These changes are probably linked to improved practices. Cardiovascular disease and infections are the main causes of death. 2020 was marked by an increase in mortality due to the SARS-CoV-2 infection, which was particularly severe in these patients.© 2022 Société francophone de néphrologie, dialyse et transplantation.
