520 | _aTo mark twenty years of the REIN (French Renal Epidemiology and Information Network), a summary report on the contributions of the French national end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) registry was produced. On health care provision, a number of key takeaways were identified. France offers diversified, local health care that adapts to patients’ needs with several supplementary providers (public, university, private for-profit, and private non-profit). However, the spatial distribution of this provision reveals differences between territories in relation to the distribution of the different treatment modalities. For several years now, the REIN has provided a new way of representing the provision of care by grouping together care facilities working together, a granularity that seems more suited to evaluating practices than the level of the single dialysis unit.© 2022 Société francophone de néphrologie, dialyse et transplantation.
