520 _aProperty transfer is a complex process (Van Teeffelen et al. 2011). The purpose of this article is to understand the complexity of this transfer with regard to the transferors and transferees, understood as (complex) individuals. Based on the pragmatic constructivist epistemological paradigm, two types of empirical information (interviews and auto-praxiographies) were used. The reflective analysis carried out on the empirical material has shown that sellers and buyers have a different vision of the same process. However, the difficulties experienced during the transition are essentially due to a lack of chemistry between sellers and buyers (Picard and Thévenard-Puthod 2004). It would then seem prudent to implement ways of encouraging this chemistry. The creation of a community of people with the help of a third party can promote dialogue and contribute to creating a constructive common ground.
