520 _aRegionalist mobilisations in Italy are quite well known in the northern part while they are almost completly neglected in the Mezzogiorno. Sardinia is a southern region in which an autonomist party (the Sardinian Party of Action) has existed since 1921. This article describes its historical genesis and its main political features (electoral performance, participation to regional government) and explains its political dynamics during the Postwar period.
