It starts by discussing the difficulty of identifying the medico-social sector specifically, then turns to three potential scenarios for its future: A considerable reduction in autonomy, a major rapprochement with the healthcare sector, and the affirmation of its autonomy by means of the ongoing construction of an endogenous discourse.
