| 520 | _aLes réseaux sociaux sont souvent associés à la propagation de discours de haine, suscitant des inquiétudes, voire des polémiques. Plusieurs législations nationales cherchent à encadrer ces plateformes et à responsabiliser les entreprises pour la modération des contenus. À l'échelle européenne, la prise en compte, voire la régulation, des discours de haine, est devenue un enjeu incontournable. Cependant, la définition même du « discours de haine » est complexe, contextuelle, ce qui rend son repérage, et à fortiori sa régulation, difficile. Dans ce numéro, des chercheurs des sciences humaines et sociales s'efforcent de mieux comprendre cette notion, notamment dans le contexte numérique. À travers une diversité d’approches, et selon une perspective interdisciplinaire, ce numéro ambitionne d’apporter des clés de compréhension et d’analyse à ce sujet complexe et en constante évolution. | ||
| 520 | _aSocial media are often associated with the propagation of hate speech, giving rise to concern and even controversy. Several national laws have been passed to regulate these platforms and to make the companies concerned responsible for moderating content. At European level, the consideration and even regulation of hate speech has become a key issue. However, the very definition of ‘hate speech’ is complex and contextual, making it difficult to identify and therefore to regulate. In this issue, social science researchers seek to further the understanding of this concept, particularly in the digital context. Through a variety of approaches and from an interdisciplinary perspective, this issue aims to provide keys to understanding and analysing this complex and constantly evolving subject. | ||
