Créé au début des années 1970 dans un contexte de répression des stupéfiants et de contre-culture, Marmottan s’est démarqué par une approche clinique originale, portée notamment par Claude Olievenstein, articulant psychanalyse, phénoménologie et soin non répressif des usagers de drogues. Au cœur de cette approche se trouve l’idée que l’addiction n’est pas seulement un rapport pathologique au produit ou à la loi, mais une atteinte de la temporalité subjective. L’article propose ainsi d’explorer la centralité du temps dans la compréhension et le soin des addictions. Il revient d’abord sur l’héritage théorique et clinique de Marmottan, puis mobilise une approche phénoménologique pour analyser l’expérience temporelle des personnes addictes. Enfin, il examine les transformations contemporaines des temporalités addictives, notamment liées aux stimulants et à l’accélération sociale, et leurs implications cliniques.

Finally, it examines contemporary transformations in addictive temporalities, particularly those linked to stimulants and social acceleration, and their clinical implications.
