520 _aThis article presents the work carried out thanks to the foundation of the Research Center for Aboriginal Theology within the Theological institute of Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei (Taïwan). This center, which promotes formation and reflection among pastoral ministers working with the aboriginal Catholic community of Taïwan, represents an original initiative that could serve as an inspiration for other institutes of theological formation based in local churches where diverse cultural communities coexist. Far from threatening the universality of Christian faith, the Research Center for Aboriginal Theology, by putting itself at the service of a truly inculturated theological reflection, seeks on the contrary to contribute to a peaceful and fruitful dialogue between the universal faith and particular cultures.
