520			_aL’article mets en lumière les évolutions au sein des CT depuis leur relance dans le cadre du plan quinquennal piloté par Didier Jayle (2005-2011). Cette relance a permis de repenser le modèle des CT en l’intégrant aux avancées de l’addictologie, notamment la réduction des risques (RdR), et en rompant avec les dérives autoritaires et sectaires du passè. Les nouvelles CT placent le groupe au cœur du processus thérapeutique, conçu comme espace d’expérimentation relationnelle, de confrontation bienveillante et d’entraide. Elles valorisent les savoirs expérientiels, la pair-aidance, le counseling et l’approche du rétablissement. Le pouvoir y est davantage partagé entre professionnels et résidents, dans une logique collaborative favorisant l’autodétermination et l’empowerment.
520			_aThis article highlights the evolutions within the TC model since their comeback as part of the five year plan initiated by Didier Jayle. (2005 – 2011) This revival made it possible to rethink the TC model by integrating advances in addiction treatment, particularly in harm reduction by breaking away from the authoritarian and sectarian approach of the past (e.g. Le Patriarche). This new wave of CTs place the group at the heart of the therapeutic process, designed as a space for experimenting different relationships, benevolent confrontation and self-help. These programs value experiential knowledge, peer support, counseling and a recovery approach. Power and decision making are shared between professionals and residents, in a collaborative approach that promotes self-determination and empowerment.
