520 _aThrough the notion of incertitude, which contrasts with the deterministic epistemology that is specific to the period when Freudian thought emerged, we offer a rereading of the present-day social bond through the prism of the notion of Two, or duality. Making room for radical difference, it allows for the theorization of the impact of reality – notably social and economic reality – on the individual psyche, but also the plurality of the subject’s loci of inscription, which complexify the exchanges with others and increase the risk of a narcissistic withdrawal into the One.
