520 _aThis paper focuses on issues that are raised by the implementation of ethics in autonomous machines. What is at stake with automated “ethical” reasoning is first highlighted. Then, starting from an ethical dilemma situation involving an autonomous car, we provide some features of a formal model taking several ethical frameworks into account. A final discussion allows us to deal with the various model biases and subjectivity sources that are inherent in the approach.
