520 _aThe present article aims to study the impact of the use of logistics information systems on production planners’ individual performance. We have adopted a structural equation modeling approach to test our research model. The research data were collected through an online and face-to-face questionnaire administered to a sample of 169 production planners in the Moroccan automotive industry. The results confirm the presence of a positive and significant relationship between the information system’s technical quality and the quality of logistical information. Similarly, the quality of information was identified as an explanatory variable for information system use and job satisfaction. These two variables contribute strongly to explaining the individual performance of production planners.
