Nous avons inventé l’action humanitaire, une solidarité de la main à la main. Nous rêvions de défendre les groupes humains et les minorités avant qu’on les meurtrisse. Nous avions l’ambition d’intervenir contre les dictatures assassines. Empêcher l’extermination des minorités, cela exige une volonté politique au-delà des bons sentiments.
