520			_aA partir de deux œuvres, l’une littéraire et l’autre plastique, nous nous sommes penchés sur le corps-machine mis à mal. Il s’agit d’une véritable esthétique du mal où les corps sont ouverts à l’image pour la jouissance de l’œil. Dans la nouvelle de Kafka, Dans la colonie pénitentiaire, le corps est mis à exécution par une belle machine et ainsi le corps devient gracieux et beau dans sa mise à mort. Dans l’œuvre photographique de Dolorosa, les propres enfants de cette dernière sont livrés à l’objectif, nus et dans des positions érotisantes arrangées pour l’occasion par leur mère avec la complicité de leur père. Ces photos génèrent un malaise chez le regardeur qui se voit témoin de cette mise en scène perversive. Photographier ses enfants est un moyen pour cette jeune photographe de ne pas « leur faire du mal » car pour elle l’acte photographique est « cathartique ». Quel mal de mère désigne-t-elle à l’image ? Quels corps violés simule-t-elle ? Quel désir d’adultes pour des enfants interroge-t-elle ?
520			_aThe Mother and Suffering. The Photographic Machine and the Sexual This article looks at two works, one literary and the other from the field of plastic arts, to see how the body-machine can be made to suffer. We are faced here with a true form of aesthetics of suffering in which bodies are laid open as images for the jouissance of our spectator’s eye. In Kafka’s short story, The Penal Colony, the body is taken over by a beautiful machine and therefore attains a status of beauty and grace as it is put to death. In the photographic works of Dolorosa, her own children are exposed to the camera lens in formalised erotic positions set up by the mother with the father’s complicity. These photographs create a feeling of extreme uneasiness on the part of the spectator who becomes an eye-witness to this perverse and perverting staging. Photographing her children is, for this young photographer, seen as a way of not ‘making them suffer’as for her, the photographic act is ‘cathartic’. What suffering mother is she pointing at here ? What raped bodies is she simulating ? What adult desire for children’s bodies is she questioning ?
