520 _aGroups have been used as a method or component of the therapeutic treatment of psychic disorders since antiquity. However, it is difficult to provide an overall view of group therapy practices in institutions or private practices, namely because they occur in highly diverse cultural contexts. This paper focuses on the psychoanalytic interpretation of the processes at work in group psychotherapies. This approach will shed theoretical light on what, starting with the intersubjective link, comes into play in intrapsychic space.
