520			_aCet article interroge les usages sociaux de l’intelligence artificielle (IA), plus précisément les gestes relationnels constitutifs des métiers de l’accompagnement. Il retrace l’évolution des imaginaires et des technologies, depuis le test de Turing jusqu’à l’irruption des IA génératives, pour souligner la remise en question croissante de la frontière entre compétences humaines et simulations algorithmiques. L’analyse met en lumière une rhétorique dominante, qui réaffirme la valeur des compétences sociales comme dernier bastion de l’humain dans un monde automatisé. En mobilisant une approche constructiviste, l’article propose de considérer ces compétences non comme des propriétés essentielles, mais comme des constructions historiques et socioculturelles que l’émergence de l’IA pourrait réactualiser. Pour le travail social, il s’agirait moins de défendre une authenticité relationnelle figée, mais l’engagement d’une coopération conflictuelle, permettant d’élaborer collectivement un cadre de confiance sur les usages de l’IA.

The analysis brings to light a dominant rhetoric that reasserts the value of social skills as the last bastion of humanity in an automated world. Drawing on a constructivist approach, the article suggests viewing these skills not as essential properties but as historical and sociocultural constructs that the emergence of AI may reconfigure. For social work, the point is less to defend a fixed notion of relational authenticity than to engage in a form of conflictual cooperation, collectively building a framework of trust around the uses of AI.
