520 | _aThe aim of this study is to shed light on the legal nature and to better define the ins and outs of the legal regime of the new way of processing offenses. This new way is detached from the triggering of public action that constitutes the plea agreement by judicial police officers. We study this by taking into account: 1) law no. 2014-896 of August 15, 2014 on individualized sentencing and the strengthening of the effectiveness of criminal sanctions; 2) the clarifications provided by Decree no. 2015-1272 of October 13, 2015, taken for the application of Articles 41-1-1 of the code of criminal procedure and L. 132-10-1 of the code of internal security; and 3) the provisions governing other ways of processing offenses. | ||
