520 _aResearch on liberated companies, also known as freedom-form companies, is a growing field of interest. These companies are well adapted to the current context. However, the numerous debates that have emerged reveal a need to clarify the concept and to better understand its usage, its evolution, and the structure of the theory behind it. To meet these pressing needs, we carry out a bibliometric thematic co-occurrence analysis analyzing five databases, yielding a sample of 148 publications. The results reveal growing interest in the topic of liberated companies. However, different terms with unclear definitions appear in the literature. The study also demonstrates that the concept is beginning to prove itself as a paradigm with several research opportunities. These are discussed in the article.
