520 _aThis paper uses data drawn from a research program on teacher education in order to analyze the relationships between researchers and research participants and the ethical and epistemological conditions of these relationships. The analysis falls into five parts : 1) the demand for research and contractual basis of collaboration, 2) construction of the theme of research, 3) data restitution, 4) researchers’ implication as teachers, 5) aid provided to participants. It describes the joint construction of these relationships in the course of the research, on a situated mode, linking transformation and comprehension.
