520 _aThis article, which follows the one published in 2000, deals with a way to think about emotion within a systemic-constructivist framework. The clinical examples (outside of the field of family therapy) reveal how it is possible to explore the culture of emotion in blocked situations and how to model them (through floating objects) in order to shift from the emotional shock to a contemplative emotion which allows for perspective and elaboration.
