520 | _aThis article tries to demonstrate that it is possible to transform the dysfunctional rules of family interaction, and to allow a child to emerge from his position of disrupting element and to become a leader of transformation. In the same process, the family therapist must bring the parents to set a better self-definition in the context of the relationship in order to become potential co-therapists. Hence, to emphasize parents’ abilities and maturity, to reinforce their status, and to help them overcome the crises of life remains the principal objective of the therapeutic process. | ||
