520 | _aFinancing the energy transition is a major issue at global, national, and local levels. France has passed a law, the TECV (Energy Transition for Green Growth). Citizen awareness is also paramount. It can be encouraged locally through different incentive schemes. This exploratory research shows how crowdfunding platforms contribute to civic involvement at a local level and enable a local territory to take control of a global societal challenge. The variety of the models proposed does not, however, demonstrate a real development of civic crowdfunding. | ||
