520			_aEn France et plus globalement dans les sociétés industrielles, nous assistons aujourd’hui à un « retour à la terre ». Alors qu’à ses débuts, ce mouvement était lié à la tradition politique héritée de 1968 et de la contre-culture, il est aujourd’hui le fruit d’une constellation d’initiatives en milieu rural ainsi qu’en milieu urbain. Ces initiatives révèlent la diversité et la complexité des alternatives qui portent ce projet de retour à la terre. Par ailleurs, ces dernières sont pour partie instrumentalisées par le capitalisme industriel qui, par conséquent, rend difficile cette tentative de reconstruction d’un lien concret et symbolique avec le vivant.
520			_aToday, in France and, more globally, in the industrial societies, we witness a “return to the land.” While at its beginning, this movement was linked to the political tradition inherited from 1968 and counterculture, it is now the fruit of a scattering of initiatives in the rural environment as well as in the urban environment. These initiatives reveal the diversity and complexity of the alternatives that bear this project of return to the land. In addition, these alternatives are in part instrumentalized by the industrial capitalism that consequently render this effort to reconstruct a concrete and symbolic link to the living difficult.
