520			_aRésuméLes ouvriers que j’ai interrogés sur leur propre idée du salaire ouvrent un espace d’intellectualité singulier : celui des différences de salaires. À travers cette catégorie, ils prennent position sur les différences de traitement entre ouvriers à propos du salaire dans l’usine, et mettent en discussion des critères qui doivent conduire à des augmentations et au changement de coefficient. L’enjeu porte sur l’accès de tous aux augmentations régulières et la possibilité d’une carrière pour chacun à l’usine. Un déplacement problématique est opéré : le salaire en tant que tel n’est pas pensé.

They thus analyse the different ways workers are treated in the factory concerning wages. Moreover they discuss the criteria on which the rise in wages should be based. They argue that a regular increase in wages and a real career should be possible for every worker in the factory. They propose a new analytical framework ; the category of « wage » is not thought as such.
