520			_aRésuméL’article rend compte du contexte de la construction contemporaine d’un espace intime dans le lieu collectif du parloir, au sein duquel une sexualité a pu s’exprimer de façon furtive ou détournée. Il s’agit de montrer le lien entre l’exigence de reconnaissance des droits fondamentaux de l’homme (dont la conception a été récemment élargie aux droits sociaux et culturels), et les difficultés à gérer des effectifs plus nombreux et surtout plus lourdement condamnés. On voudrait démontrer que tout aménagement, quel qu’il soit, des conditions de détention n’a pour but que de contrôler la population pénale.
520			_aThe article analyses the context and the conditions of the contemporary refitting of visiting rooms. A clandestine sexuality imposed itself punctually thanks to the reconquest of a private space in collective rooms. This article stresses the link between a new conception of human rights and the difficulty to control the inmate population because of the burden of the long-term sentences. It shows that the amelioration of the life inside is not the main purpose of the penal administration which tries to conform itself to the evolution of the society by perfecting its instruments of control.

Er betont die Verbindung, die zwischen einer neuen Auffassung der grundlegenden Menschenrechte und der Schwierigkeit besteht, die ständig zunehmende und zu längeren Strafen verurteilte Insassenbevölkerung zu kontrollieren. Jede Verbesserung der Haftbedingungen zielt nur darauf, diese Bevölkerung zu kontrollieren.
