| 520 | _aTrente ans après la première mention de « déprise » en sociologie du vieillissement, ce libre propos revient sur l’histoire de la notion, que l’on peut découper en quatre phases : d’abord celle de l’invention, faite de lien et de prise de distance avec la « disengagement theory » ; ensuite celle de la mise à l’épreuve par l’enquête sur les pratiques de la ville des personnes vieillissantes qui permet de préciser la notion dans le cadre des rapports à l’existence des personnes ; puis le retour sur les théories du vieillissement pour affiner l’intérêt de poursuivre sur cette voie originale ; enfin celle de son extension dans le champ de la sociologie du vieillissement par son adoption par d’autres chercheurs. Nous soulignons aussi que ce travail sociologique a été discuté au sein de l’ensemble plus vaste des gérontologues. | ||
| 520 | _aThirty years after the first mention of déprise in the sociology of ageing, this point of view revisits the history of the notion, which can be divided into four phases: first, that of invention, made of the link and distance with “disengagement theory”; second, that of probation by the survey on the initiatives employed by towns for ageing people which makes it possible to clarify the notion within the framework of the relations with the existence of the people concerned; then the return on the theories of ageing to refine the interest of continuing on this original way; and finally its extension in the field of the sociology of ageing by its adoption by other researchers.
