Appliquées aux matériels militaires ces dernières modifieront sensiblement la perception du champ de bataille par le combattant. Si les conséquences de cette modification sur les modes d’action tactiques sont difficiles à décrire dès aujourd’hui, ses conséquences sur le comportement du combattant sont d’ores et déjà prévisibles et doivent être anticipées.Les évolutions des systèmes d’armes tendent à éloigner le combattant de la réalité du champ de bataille. Afin d’éviter les dérives comportementales et pour lui permettre de conserver la pleine conscience de ses actes, il convient d’accompagner la mise en service des nouveaux équipements.

Although the consequences of this change in our scope for tactical activity are today still difficult to assess in detail, we can already foresee their impact on the behaviour of combatants. Behaviour which needs to be anticipated well in advance.As an example, changes in weapons systems will lead to the combatant carrying out his role further away from the battlefield. In order to avoid undesirable behaviour and to ensure that the combatant remains fully aware of the consequences of his acts, support and awareness building measures should accompany the introduction of this new technology.
520			_aDie digitale Revolution hat auf zahlreichen Gebieten einen schnellen Wandel ausgelöst, der in Bezug auf Rüstungsgüter die Wahrnehmung des Kampfplatzes beim Soldaten erheblich verändert. Zwar sind die Konsequenzen dieser veränderten Wahrnehmung für die taktischen Vorgehensweisen heutzutage schwer zu beschreiben, doch die Konsequenzen für das Verhalten des Soldaten sind schon jetzt abseh- bzw. voraussehbar.Die Entwicklung der Waffensysteme führt dazu, dass die Realität des Kampfplatzes für die Soldaten in die Ferne rückt. Um einem Fehlverhalten vorzubeugen und dem Soldaten die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich seiner Handlungen auch weiterhin voll bewusst zu sein, sollte die Inbetriebnahme neuer Ausrüstungen begleitet werden.
