| 520 | _aRésumé Objectif. Comparer le rôle et la perception de pharmaciens hospitaliers dans la dispensation de médicaments anticancéreux par voie orale (MAVO) en Europe et en Amérique du Nord. Méthode. Étude descriptive, exploratoire et transversale. Identification d’un pharmacien hospitalier par entité juridique ciblée. Quarante-quatre variables ont été identifiées et regroupées en trois thèmes : démographie (n = 3), perceptions relatives à la pratique actuelle (n = 31), perceptions sur l’attribution de neuf tâches pharmaceutiques (n = 10) ainsi qu’un scénario optimal de prise en charge. Questionnaire en anglais et en français sur SurveyMonkey®, Palo Alto, CA, ÉUA, testé par cinq pharmaciens hospitaliers puis envoyé par courriel. Résultats. Quatorze répondants sur 21 (67 %) ont fourni des réponses exploitables (7 en Europe : Allemagne, Autriche, Belgique, Espagne, France, Pays-Bas et Suisse, et 7 en Amérique du Nord : Québec, Alberta, Nouveau-Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, Île-du-Prince-Édouard et États-Unis). La validation de la conformité des ordonnances de MAVO implique le pharmacien hospitalier dans 12 cas sur 14. Une majorité de répondants (11/14) n’a pas assez de ressources pour assurer un encadrement de qualité de tous les patients traités par MAVO. Conclusion. Peu importe l’entité juridique, une majorité de répondants considère que la charge de travail est à la hausse et que les ressources sont insuffisantes pour assurer des services et soins pharmaceutiques de qualité (c’est-à-dire sécurité et bon usage). Cette étude exploratoire montre l’intérêt de réfléchir au modèle actuel de pratique pharmaceutique (hôpital contre officine) afin d’assurer un traitement adéquat et efficient des patients atteints de cancer. | ||

Questionnaire in English and French on SurveyMonkey®, Palo Alto (CA, USA), tested by five hospital pharmacists and sent by email. Results. Fourteen respondents (14/21, 67 %) provided usable answers (e.g., 7 in Europe: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Netherlands and Switzerland, and 7 in North America: Quebec, Alberta, New Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island and the United States). Validation of MAVO prescription compliance involves the hospital pharmacist in 12 cases out of 14. A majority of respondents (11/14) do not have enough resources to ensure quality supervision of all patients treated by MAVO. Conclusion. Regardless of the legal entity, a majority of respondents consider that the workload is on the rise and that the resources are insufficient to ensure quality pharmaceutical services and care (i.e., safety and proper use). This exploratory study shows the interest of reflecting on the current model of pharmaceutical practice (hospital against pharmacy) in order to ensure adequate and efficient treatment of cancer patients. | ||
