520			_aRelativement peu nombreuses, fonctionnant dans un environnement plutôt difficile, les sociétés franc-comtoises sont, par contre, fortement intégrées au réseau constitué par le Club des jacobins de Paris et ses filiales. Dans ce cadre, elles ont des relations très denses avec la capitale. Par le canal de leur correspondance « verticale » avec la société mère, elles diffusent dans leur ci-devant province des informations, des directives, des modèles de comportement émanant de Paris, mais elles sont en même temps les voix de la province vers la capitale. Leurs relations « horizontales » avec les filiales des autres régions favorisent également leurs relations avec Paris et plus largement, l'intégration de la région à l'espace national.
520			_aProvincial and Parisian Jacobins : the Case of Franche-ComtéRelatively few in number, working in an uncongenial context, the political clubs of Franche-Comté were, however, closely integrated within the network constituted by the Paris Jacobin Club and its branches. In this context, relations with the capital were closely knit. Through their « vertical » correspondence with the head organization, they helped circulate in their former province news, guidelines and behavioural models emanating from Paris, while likewise acting as the voice of the province vis-à-vis the capital. Their « horizontal » relationship with the branches from other regions also contributed to their relations with Paris and more broadly to their integration within the national space.
