La critique de la naturalisation des phénomènes sociaux conduit dans Histoire et conscience de classe à disqualifier tout concept de nature ; ce constructivisme fort empêche la première philosophie de la praxis de problématiser les rapports écologiques entre nature et société. À l’inverse, Ontologie de l’être social interroge le conditionnement naturel de la praxis humaine. Si le dernier Lukács souligne la contradiction possible entre les finalités de l’agir humain et la toile causale naturelle où il s’inscrit, sa conception optimiste de l’histoire évacue en même temps l’éventualité d’une crise écologique du capitalisme.
520			_aThis article attemps to read anew the intellectual itinerary leading Lukács from a strong constructivism to a revisited naturalism, in the light of contemporary ecological debates polarized by the opposition between naturalism and antinaturalism. In History and Class Consciousness, the critic of the naturalization of socio-historical reality leads to a disqualification of the very concept of nature: a strong constructivism prevents the philosophy of praxis from questioning the ecological relations between nature and society. In contrast, Ontology of Social Being aims at grasping the natural conditions of human praxis. Although the late Lukács points at the possible contradiction between the telos of human action and the causal nexus in which it unfolds, his optimistic vision of history denies at the same time the emergence of an ecological crisis of capitalism.
