| 520 | _aThe objective of our work is to carry out an analysis of the implications between the body, the drive, and the real through ORLAN’s artistic production. The notion of sublimation, and its relation to the real and the Thing (das Ding), is essential in order to reflect on the relation between the body, the drive, and the creative act. Therefore, creationist sublimation can trigger the constraint of repetition, animated by the death drive and translated by the subject’s encounter with the real of the Thing. | ||
