520			_aL’ethnographie du contentieux en référé contre les opposants au projet de centre commercial EuropaCity présente une scène de dévoilement heuristique où s’exposent trois conceptions des terres agricoles chez les aménageurs, les exploitants et les militants environnementalistes. La notion émergente des terres comme patrimoine commun, portée par les militants au tribunal, bouscule l’indépendance des branches du droit jusqu’à vider de sa légitimité le jugement d’éviction basé sur la propriété, permettant aux opposants au projet de conserver l’usage du terrain en litige et d’emporter la décision politique d’annulation.
520			_aThe ethnography of an emergency court proceeding against the opponents of the commercial center EuropaCity in the Paris suburbs presents a scene of heuristic unveiling where developers, farmers and activists expose three conceptions of agricultural land. The notion of land as a common heritage, as argued in court by EuropaCity’s opponents, unsettles the independence of judiciary to such an extent that it voids the judgment of eviction of its legitimacy. The activists were able to remain on the land and forced the government to cancel the project.
