520 _aThis paper uses a mixture of psychoanalytical and anthropological perspectives to analyze the logics of social divisions in adolescence when these are experienced and legitimized in terms of “ethnic” or “racial” divisions. The fate of many young people, who are destined to enter a shared secular world, is envisaged here as a response to a logic of segregation.
