520			_aThis text is extracted from a survey-diagnosis on pupils defined as truants and done in a secondary school, located in the South of France and more particularly in an area targeted for special help in education. The deliberate position of this article is to listen to the pupils defined as truants by the administration. It stresses a more complex relation to school and the world than the institutional designation “truant” may imply and reminds of the processes that remove partly these young people away from school.
