Vichyn revisiting this clinical situation, in particular identifying additional clinical incisions in this case known above all for Freud’s theorisation of the aftermath. However, like other authors before him, Vichyn failed to note the adolescent characteristics of the case, which account for the hallucinatory fixity of object investment in adolescence, rendering the work of elaborating the adolescent process obsolete. This leads the author to hypothesise a pubertal psychosis against a background of early sexual trauma, that is repeated during childhood and adolescence.
