520			_aRésuméLes récentes initiatives de l’État en matière de « santé mentale » (amendement Accoyer, plan Cléry-Merlin, rapports de l’ inserm consacrés à la « santé mentale » des enfants et adolescents) constituent à la fois une attaque contre la psychanalyse et contre la laïcité et nous obligent ainsi à mettre en relation celles-ci. Articuler les deux rationalités, analytique et laïque, signifie esquisser la logique paradoxale qu’elles proposent (produire un ensemble dont les éléments sont des singularités), identifier la figure-limite qu’elles affirment chacune selon sa spécificité (la figure de l’incroyance) et entendre en quel sens on peut parler d’analyse « laïque ». Cette articulation dessine les enjeux de la lutte contre l’intrusion de l’État dans l’intimité subjective et contre les offensives normalisatrices.
520			_aThe government’s recent initiatives in the field of mental health – the Accoyer bill, the Clery-Merlin plan as well as the inserm reports ont the mental health of children and teenagers – are to be seen as attacks against both psychoanalysis and laicism. As such they lead us to establish a connection between the two of them. To link analytical and laical rationalities implies first to unveil the paradoxical logic at work in them – that of a whole emerging from particular elements – to acknowledge then the concept of Unbelief as the borderline concept central to both approaches, and finally to determine what is meant by such a thing as « layanalysis ». Connecting the two notions highlights what is truly at stake in fighting the State’s intrusion upon subjective intimacy as well as attempts at standardization of all sorts.
