520 _aDelinquency and criminality are described in criminology as primarily male activities. Several studies have drawn this conclusion. Moreover, most studies attempting to understand the phenomenon of delinquency have been based on samples of men and/or boys. In fact, data on the delinquency of girls are scarce. Our study presents the state of criminal activity of a mixed sample of 241 minors, 168 boys and 73 girls, living in towns in the Gap and Grenoble areas.
