However, assert the eternal blindness of the justice towards these exactions, as the influence of certain feminist readings is inclined to it, is a retrospective illusion. It is especially to underestimate the important work of recognition and processing of the violence by the Criminal justice of the 19th century. Studying the judicial archives, and analysing the doctrinal debates, the policies of State and the decisions of jurisprudence, the article shows the practical adjustments in which the magistrates proceeded to make visible, thinkable and reprehensible domestic violence in 19th Century. | ||
