520 _aThis article analyzes the itineraries of Senegalese women who seek to emigrate to Europe from Morocco. By considering both prostitution and domestic service, which are critical in understanding gender in migration, this study highlights the logics of these women’s action given the uncertain character of their migration whose stages are redefined along the way. The concept of a continuum of economico-sexual exchanges makes it possible to clarify the relations that these women have with other migrants, but also the way in which they mobilize and negotiate their femininity as a resource. A comparative perspective with work relating to other female migrations, both internal and international, enriches the analysis.
