Two complementary concepts, virtuality and actuality, describe the dualities of action and the great metaphysical opposition between transcendence and immanence. The “actual” has a spatiotemporal address, it is located in the sequential time and in three-dimensional physical space whereas no precise spatiotemporal address can be assigned to the abstract “virtual”. The six elementary operators of reflection (virtual, actual, sign, being, thing and emptiness) function in an interdependent way and cross all fields of human and social sciences. | ||
