520 | _aAttachment theory sheds light on the type of parental behaviors associated with secure attachment. Research shows that some parents may have insecure attachment that hinders their ability to mentalize and adjust to their child’s needs. Video-feedback allows parents to observe their interactions with their children and it shows us what they are ready to change in their interactions with them. We believe that this type of intervention, when adapted to the specific framework of each departmental council service, improves parental reflexivity and promotes the development of a secure attachment in the child. | ||
