The experiment conducted there proved highly successful. Family consultations do not treat symptoms of pain but alleviate the stresses that trigger such suffering or reduce the need to intervene. The imaginary world within the family focuses the various therapeutic issues brought up during the interviews. A number of families were thus enabled to surmount the relational impasse and see unexpected improvements. | ||
